Wrekin College is a well-established independent school in Shropshire, known for its strong sense of community and commitment to developing confident, well-rounded young people within a supportive and characterful setting.
Choosing a school is an emotional decision, but most school marketing doesn’t reflect that.
Wrekin College needed films that would give prospective families a genuine sense of what their child’s life could feel like there, beyond results, facilities, or scripted messaging.
The process was rooted in capturing reality rather than constructing it.
Lush Studio embedded within daily life at Wrekin College, filming across multiple settings and moments without relying on heavy scripting or staged scenes.
A cinematic, character-led approach guided the work, focusing on natural interactions, individual voices, and the subtle details that define the atmosphere of the school.
A set of films that don’t feel like school marketing.
They capture something harder to define, the atmosphere, the energy, the small in-between moments where the real character of Wrekin College lives.
There’s a kind of quiet magic to it. Just something you feel.and a genuine energy you get from all the pupils and staff that are there.
HEADMASTERS VISION
An interview with the Wrekin Headmaster, coupled with footage taken over the course of a year at Wrekin College. The film dives deep into the thos of the head and how he envisions the future of his presitigious school.

From the student voices series, Qhyais - A 6th form student, tells us what happiness means to him. We wanted to try and dig deep into what really makes these students incredible individuals on their journey through Wrekin edcuaction.

From the student voices series, Melissa- A 5th form student tells us about her passion for music. Melissa showed us just what dedication it takes to be a top music student at a school internationaly known for its challenging music programs.

From the student voices series, Yumi - A 6th form student tells us about her passion for Art. The lovely Yuki shared her challenges being an overseas student. We loved how these personal stories show you how the school sculpts these amazing young people.
WREKIN PREP SCHOOL
An overview of the Lower school with an interview of the Head. The film feature children from every year of the lower junior school. We loved being invited into the many subjects the school offers and to see how happy the children are every day.
CAREERS DAY
The 6th form careers day for the business school. The film was used to advertise collaborations on Linkedin for local businesses to be involved in the next careers day. The film also highlighted how every student can be fed into wonderful careers.
