Manor Adventure is a family-run outdoor education and school residential specialist based in the UK that’s been operating since 1991. It’s loved by teachers and students alike because each visit blends adventurous fun with personal development, teamwork challenges, confidence building and unforgettable shared experiences across their 8 centres in the Uk and France.
Manor Adventure has relied on 95% rebooking rate from previous schools. Our challenge was to reshape their digital marketing to appeal directly to parents, teachers and children and to create a vibrant community on social media that could lead to being a sales funnel.
The social media had always been done without a strategy, so was ad-hoc reactive to the needs of the company for recruitment. Our challenge for the recruitment side of the business was to create an advertising pipeline to recruit more instructors and staff thought out the year.We started by visiting all 8 centres around the UK and France over a 6 week period and capturing all the footage and stills of all centre activity with schools. This was built into a library of content that would feed the social media channels. We then did a deep competitor analysis to make sure that the Manor aDventure social channels stood out amongst competitors.
We then developed a year round marketing strategy that focused on building the social media channels engagement and recruitment opportunities.The new website was populated with our video and photography, we updated all the sales films and planned the social media content around the fun and excitement of the activities. We built a regular recruitment strategy into the social media schedule that once launched saw 17 instructor applications after the first week.
